My name is Naomi Garcia. I am married and have two children. I am the owner/director of my small family child care home located in Riverside, Ca. I am licensed for 8 children. The love of my own children and other children in my life inspired me to become a licensed family child care provider. I have been licensed since May 2006 and have experience volunteering at the Carolyn E. Wylie Center (Grant site) from September 2005-March 2006. I attend workshops and classes focusing on early childhood, children with disabililties, nutrition, etc.. I also volunteer with the Girl Scouts, member of the PTA and volunteer as Sunday school teacher at St. Catherines.
My objective is to provide child care for the working, parent in school full time, or for children that need to be socialized. I strive to promote diversity, healthy eatting habits, minds and bodies.
My home indoor is kid friendly. A staff member from RCOE has told me my home is immaculate. Our home has a great big backyard swingset and plenty of toys to ride on. A full day here would consist of eatting breakfast, learn through play, table time (textures, coloring, painting, drawing, gluing, etc..), a.m. snack, story time and/or singing songs, outdoor play, lunch, nap/rest time, p.m. snack, arts, & inside/outdoor play.
